"A native of Belgium, the owner of Carré Sucré spent most of her life in the french-speaking city of Liège, home of the famous waffle with caramelized sugar. After moving to the US, she sought everywhere for the flavors of her childhood, authentic waffles and other Belgian specialty foods. She realized that stocking up during her yearly trips back home was not a long-term option! The idea of Carré Sucré was born in 2012, from a passion to share family recipes, making small batches from natural ingredients.
